Easy Logo Management
Okay, so the first thing you will want to do with your new x-cart template is add your company logo, so what smarty .tpl file should you edit??
Forget about it... with Busy Kitchen, we've done all the hard work for you. Now you can quickly upload your company logo, favicon (we've even included our own .ico generator), HTML page background image, you can even change the colours of the header mini-cart and search textfield. Keep in mind, you can do all of this without even looking at a line of Smarty or CSS.
Easy configurable menu colour schemes
To help you get that exact look and feel you are after, you can now assign colours to all the top main menus on your site using our easy colour picker facility - go crazy and colour-code all your top level menu items and categories or just stick to a single colour for all menus, the choice is yours.
Configurable Quick & Customer Service links
Add useful page links directly into your homepage and footer area. This is a great way to promote relevant and timely content, whilst also building up your keyword rich link farm to help get your links indexed on all major search engines.
Simple HTML & Banner Manager facility
Using the Busy Kitchen template settings page, you can choose to upload 4 simple static images to appear on your homepage. No need to edit smarty template files, just create your banner and save it to the acquired position on your website. This is exactly what we have done with Busy Kitchen, now you can select any of your sub-categories to appear on the homepage of your website. This is the perfect way to keep the content on your homepage fresh and relevant - help encourage traffic to all parts of your catalogue with our exclusive 'Homepage Featured Category Listing' module.
Sub-categories sidebar
Automatic Sidebar Navigation, sub-categories are displayed within the left sidebar when there are sub-categories to display, if not all product lists are presented in "full width", taking up 100% of the available width of the page.
Add a Googlemap to your x-cart Contact Us page
What has the x-cart "Contact Us" page been missing for ages? You guessed it... a Googlemap, has anyone else noticed that? We've added a great feature to our Busy Kitchen template - instant Googlemap - just type in your address and let our Googlemap module take are of the rest. Done.
Search engine friendly 'All Categories' page
Busy Kitchen comes with its own 'All Categories' page - this provides two benefits, the first is from an SEO perspective. Now you can have all of your categories and sub-categories listed on one single page - perfect for search engines to crawl and secondly great for your customers to get a full overview of your websites catalogue structure and layout.
Tabbed Product Info
Product tabs are a great way to keep your customers focused on the page content that appears in front of them, without presenting too many distracting options. All the usual product pages are presented, including:

Semantic Code optimized for SEO
We have focused our design on emphasising important keywords and html elements. By moving important page elements higher up in the source code such as the page content and h1 tag and ensuring that header and footer content (common page elements) lower down in the source - all of these techniques add priority and weight to your templates page ranking.
