Hard Hat Hosting

Great hosting service. Fast servers and a well trained staff that helps with initial setup and questions at anytime. They know X-Cart very well. We have been using Hard Hat for 3+ years for a very high traffic e-commerce x-cart site without any issues.

SSH access and a very customizable Virtual Private Server really puts Hard Hat above other hosting services. The VPS has proven to be very beneficial and the server is always extremely responsive and never has any down time.

Only pop3 email is supported but we use the free Google Apps for your domain (ie. Google Hosted) to provide IMAP email for the domain.

No complaints or issues at all with HardHat or X-cart. Highly recommended for x-cart stores and any hosting needs.

I've been really pleased with HardHat. I have my domain monitored for downtime and it has never gone down in the 2.5 years I've been with them. This is in direct contrast to other hosts I've used for x-cart where the server seemed to go down at least once a week and my customers got "500 Server Error" pages when they ordered. Yes, they are a little more expensive when compared to some other options, but when I think of the orders I lost due to the site being down or not robust enough for x-cart, it's easy to see that the extra few dollars a month are well worth it.
