What's new in the version 3 of the Featured Products Slide Show module:

Featured Products Slide Show X-Cart add-on was designed to improve the X-Cart featured products functionality.
In the 3rd release the functionality of Featured Products Slide Show module was extended to display not only featured products. You can set up this module to show specified number of last added to your store products or even random products now. In addition you can display Featured Products Slide Show block on home page and categories pages or for home page only.
If you are going to display Featured Products Slide Show block on categories pages you can use whether current category or entire store as a featured, last added or random products source.
Another good news is highly customizable lookout of the Featured Products Slide Show module block. You can choose product title, image and description location or turn any of this items off. Also you can add price, buy now button and popup with the product description to the Featured Products Slide Show module block.
This block can be configured to look like a slider or slide show. Both manual or automatic products rotation with specified time interval is available:
"Slider" mode (sample tooltip)
"Slideshow" mode (the cellphone thumbnail "mouseovered")
Another feature is a product selector so the customer will be able to switch to certain product fast. You can use numbers or products thumbnails for product selector.
